Support

A real person reads it.

Storygarden is small. There is no ticket queue and no chatbot — write to us and somebody who worked on the thing you are asking about will answer.

What helps us answer quickly.

The email address on your account, whether you are on a phone or in a browser, and what you expected to happen. Please do not send passwords — we will never ask for one.

Answers to the things people ask first.

Can anyone else see what I save?

No, unless you share it. There is no public feed and no way to search for a family or a child. Memories are private to your account until you create a share link or invite somebody by name. How that is enforced.

What happens if I stop paying?

Nothing is deleted — not memories, children, media, calendar events, shares, or comments. Everything you have saved stays readable. What pauses is new writing, until the subscription is sorted out. A payment that simply fails enters a grace period rather than an immediate lock.

I shared a link and want it back.

Revoke it. The link stops working immediately for everyone holding it. You can see every share you have created, and its status, from the sharing screen.

Does Storygarden read my text messages?

No. Text Capture only ever sees the messages you deliberately send to the Storygarden number. The app cannot read your inbox, and the Android build blocks the SMS-reading permissions outright so it could not even if asked.

Will you email my child?

Only to an address you typed in yourself. Storygarden never creates an email account for a child, never asks for anybody's email password, and cannot read any mailbox. If a child has no address yet, that is something you set up with an email provider directly and then enter here.

How do I cancel a subscription?

Where you bought it. One bought on an iPhone is cancelled in your Apple account and one bought on Android in your Google account — Storygarden cannot cancel those for you. A subscription bought by card on the web is managed from the subscription screen after you sign in.

Can I get my data out?

Yes. Settings → Export my data produces an archive of your memories and media, delivered by a private link that expires after seven days.

How do I delete my account?

From Settings inside the app, or from the web without installing anything. Deletion removes the database records, the stored files, thumbnails, exports, and the phone-number mapping.

Reporting something serious.

A security problem

Write to support@story-garden.app with enough detail to reproduce it. We would much rather hear it from you than find out later, and we will not respond to a good-faith report with a lawyer.

A comment on something you shared

You can hide or delete any comment on your own share, and turn comments off entirely, from the sharing screen. If somebody is misusing an invitation, revoke it and tell us.

A privacy request

Depending on where you live you may have the right to see, correct, export, or delete your data, or to object to how it is handled. Ask and we will help. The detail is in the privacy policy.

Still deciding?
